Welsh Corgi, Pembroke Question

I'm deeply thinking about getting a Corgi pup but have a few questions

How easy are corgis to potty train, how should I groom them, and how well would one get along with my lazy cat?

If you get a male puppy (they are more beta than alpha) he will harrass the cat & play but wont usually hurt them. Good Buds !

Corgi's are easy to potty train. Just don't be to hard on them, no need for spanking, they won't respond as well. Just make sure that he knows that you are unhappy with what he has done and be consistent. Corgi's are extremely smart and VERY eager to please. You should bath him about once a month and use a stripper with 8-10 teeth to brush him twice a week or else you will have shag carpets. Make sure that you do not brush the same spot too many times or else you can cause brush burn. And do not have him shaved. Shaving double coated dogs CAN damage their coat for the rest of their lives. I went a month without brushing mine and I removed enough fur to make another corgi. For an extra healthy coat mix one raw egg into one of his meals every day. Be careful to not overfeed him. Corgis are known to become very overweight. He should get along just fine with your lazy cat. Keep in mind that Corgis are herding dogs.
