What is the difference between the Welsh and the Pembroke Corgis?

They are the same. They are Pembroke Welsh Corgis. There are Pembroke Welsh corgis and Cardigan Welsh Corgis, they are 2 seperate breeds. The Cardigan has a tail, the Pembroke does not. The Cardigan has bigger, rounder ears with a wider earset. The Cardigan also comes in colors that the Pembrokes do not. For example, there is no such thing as a blue or merle Pembroke. That is only acceptable in the Cardigans. If you see one of these colors advertised as a Pembroke, they are not purebred.
