We have a vizsla terrier mix, and she is the youngest dog of 3. She has all the charater traits of a vizsla but displays a very dominant nature towards other dogs. When push comes to shove, she is usually put in her place, and then she goes about her own way as if nothing happened. This is not an aggerssive dominant behavior tho, and we were wondering if this is typical of the vizsla breed.

She sounds like an alpha want to be - If she tends to push your buttons or act like Queen Sheba around the house would be confrming actions. She needs the security of knowing her place. The best thing you can do is be a good alpha and she should calm down. Give her a job and make her do it.
