Vizsla's are people orientated and will not do if kept outside alone. If your aim is to keep a dog outside, perhaps you should seek a cat for a pet

Vizsla's enjoy the outdoors a lot and only when you take them out in the woods can you see there true beauty and history of breeding really come out! They are magnificent animals with a very alert sense of hearing ... our 5 month old female points perfectly already when she is out in the wilderness, its a rare beauty to see!

I agree with both previous comments. If outside the Vizsla expects you to be there too. But, they love the outside and to be able to run. A Vizsla should have at least a 1,000 sq ft fenced in area (preferrably) to play. Vizsla also are excellent swimmers and if you have a pool be careful and aware they will feel very inclined to frolick in the water.

our vizsla lives outside and is not alowed in the house but being in a hot climate we are on patio a lot with her. she loves the ability to run around yard and plays with her toys the best a plastic milk bottle it depends how you bring them up they love to climb in any chair we sit in and not interested in one we dont use would love the couch.
