A vizsla is a wimp when it comes to the cold weather. Get a very good coat and watch close for over heating. Any weather can be done..... my vizsla is a service dog and travels back east 10 - 15 times a year and we live in So. Calif. They can do anything but that doesn't mean they won't bitch about it. Make sure your life style fits them or you will have a VERY BAD VIZSLA !!!!!!!!!!!

The wirehaired Vizsla was bred specifically to withstand colder weather while hunting. Again they are family type dogs and if you are looking for a dog to live out side this is not the dog for you
