I am having trouble finding food for my Vizsla. I want an all natural, organic if possible, dog food for him. If not organic something close as possible to it??

One I can suggest with complete confidence, have been using this variety for many years, called Holistic Select. Comes in lamb, chicken, fish, duck, a total dry food. I do add cooked brown rice, some raw vegetables and a sprinkling of lamb, beef, chicken mixed in with dry food, All very well received and they do enjoy it all. We have a lady hungarian vizsla and a male airedale terrier. We buy this food through Pet Depot, Annandale Sydney - Phone 9569 5388. Hope this information helps. Jennifer Morton

Try the BARF diet for your Vizsla. Raw bones and food. We feed raw chicken backs and vegetables. See beaugeste.com

Try Blue Buffalo for your vizsla. It's a grain free food that's what my parents give their female with lots of skin problems and it made her coat really shiny and she is doing really well on the food.

SOLID GOLD DOG FOOD IS A GOOD CHOICE. YOU CAN PURCHASE IT ONLY AT PETCO. ( AT LEAST I HAVE NOT FOUND IT AT ANY OTHER FACILITY. MY VIZSLA IS TEN YRS OLD. AN , NEVER ANY HEALTH ISSUES. IT COST ME 58.00 DOLLARS A BAG. I PURCHASE ONE EVERY 1 1/2 MONTHS. IT REQUIRES YOU GIVE LESS THEN THE STANDARD AMOUNT FOR A MEDIUM SIZE BREED. STOOLS ARE NEVER HARD OR LOOSE . NORMAL FORMED. I FEED JOSPHER , SOLID GOLD AND GRAVEY MIXED & COOKED.

Make your Vizslas food. It is honestly the most simple thing and its so worth it. We have feed our puppy of 5 months old home made food from day one. Usually its diced chicken (which I just boil in water to cook), natural apple sauce, brown rice and carrots. She LOVES slices of apple, banana, beets, carrots, green beans, chick peas. I also recommend trying the mixture of food with a bit of cottage cheese. I cook her calf or chicken liver once a month, sometimes ground beef and we always mix our chicken with a bit of canned tuna or sardines (which she loves). I give her a raw piece of meaty bone about twice a month.. like a hunk of raw beef on a rib. It takes her about 2 hours to finish it and shes a happy camper!
