Depends what you mean by winter? Will the Thai Ridgeback be left outside in the snow? If yes then no he will die. Will he be inside with you? Then if you get him a jacket and shoes, he will be ok for a walk and to pee etc., but not to hang out.

My Thai Ridgeback was out side in northern alberta working with me in minus 30 celcus I did have a custom jacket made for him but he was good till minus 20 . Their coat will thicken as the weather changes. So they will shed out in colder climate
