Since this is a breed that was bred to run dozens of miles a day, even just a large yard is not enough. Husky's need a lot of mental and physical stimulation. I don't think they are a good choice for city life especially without a large yard. If confined to a house or apartment for many hours a day, they usually howl and carry on, causing problems with the neighbors and stress for everyone involved. They are better suited for people with plenty of fenced area to run, or people who will jog with them, use them as sled dogs which they LOVE, and have plenty of time. By that I mean not just a couple hours a day, after work, to walk a dog. Also, Sibes do best when they are not single dogs. They really thrive in a group of other Sibes or similar type dogs.
