Any dog could be at risk as the temperatures rise into the 90s, and especially 100s. They don't sweat but must pant to cool themselves, so if the air is as hot as their body temperature, it is hard for them to cool. At times like that they should be in air conditioning if at all possible. If not they need good shade and cold water at all times. A fan can help a little. Don't shave a husky either, as that does not help them stay cool.
