I found a black scottish terrier running down a busy road. When I initially picked her up, I didn't realize she was a scotty. Her coat was dirty, long and matted. Her nails were long and she was thin. It wasn't really until I cleaned her up that I realized what breed she was. She did not have a collar and had not been chipped. I never could find where she had come from. So she became my best friend. She has been the best dog. She is so smart and will play ball all day long. She goes everywhere with me. My question is...is there anyway of telling how old she is? She has very bright white teeth. She is very active. She has a soft jet black coat. She does have a few gray hairs down her back and around her mozzle, not alot. She has come into heat. Any comments would be appreciated.
