I really want to get a miniature schnauzer but my parents work all day and I don't get home from...


I really want to get a miniature schnauzer but my parents work all day and I don't get home from school until 3! I am afraid if I potty train the dog outside and I would keep the dog inside my house how would it go to the bathroom without potting all over the crate! What do I do !!!!!

They have puppy pads where you can simply just train the mini schnauzer there...but i would recommend you waiting until you actually have time to spend with the dog and train him appropriately.

Well, you could try buying a miniature schnauzer during the summer, so you can potty train the dog, and by the end of the summer, the dog could be old enough to hold it in while you're gone at school. This is just my theory.

I also have that problem with my miniature schnauzer. We keep her in a crate while we are gone and most of the time she holds it. But she must be comfortable

timing and crate training will ensure your puppy can stay in a crate or be trusted in your house while you are gone.
