Samoyeds are prone to diabetes, allergies.....so dont give sugar and salt

Also glaucoma, watch their eyes closely. Any irritation, redness, swollen, discharge, cloudiness to the eyes-bring them to your vet immediately! Loss of vision can happen rapidly with glaucoma.

The samoyed breed is closest to a human because they can get pretty much any disease a human can. They cant get the common cold or the flu like a hamster can but they can be lactose intolerrant, DONT FEED THEM CHEESE, and some can get down syndrome. Most samoyeds can get hip dysplasia and arthrites (i dont think those are spelt right) and this can make walks less frequent and shorter distances. my dog has many of these problems but he is the sweetest most loving dog i have ever owned.
