i have a rat terrier and he is the most perfect animal ive ever had my children and husband adore him but he sheds awful the white hair gets everywhere it drives me crazy because i do everything i know to do and you would think as much as he sheds he would be bald hope this helps

try changing your rat terrier's food. Eukanuba for small adult breeds is a good dog food to use. If you feed them a low priced food, they tend to shed more because their body is compensating for the nutrition they are not getting.
