My 6 yr old petite fawn pug finally got pregnant by our 1 1/2 yr old black pug but all three...


My 6 yr old petite fawn pug finally got pregnant by our 1 1/2 yr old black pug but all three puppies came out breech and their heads got stuck in her pelvis and unfortunately were still born.The puppies were big and slightly premature but appeared very normal. Are they supposed to come out head first? Do most Pugs need c-Sections? We are devastated.

it depends on the size of the bitch amd the sire.... in your case if the bitch is small will always need c section

Puppies can be born either way, head first or rear first. Because of the large head some Pugs need a C-section. I’m sorry you lost all your puppies... At 6 years old, I wouldn’t breed your girl again. If you do, you could plan a C-section.
