I have a pom/mini pincher mix. He inherited long & thin legs. He been a jumper since he was a puppy, in spite of my constant command of ¨no¨ and stopping him. He is 11yrs old, and he seems to be having problems with his back legs. He limps a bit when walking. The supplements for joints are horse size and he doesn´t care for this, even when I break it into small pieces & disguise it with food, he´ll spit it out. Is there something else I can do to help my boy? Thank you.

Hi, Pomeranians and other toy breeds are prone to luxating patella which simply means 'slipped knee caps'. It's common in older dogs over the age of 10 and can be rectified by a simple operation. Go and see your vet ASAP otherwise it'll just get worse!! Good luck!
