hi i am going too go get a pom puppy for my little girl. i know they shed twice a year or more...


hi i am going too go get a pom puppy for my little girl. i know they shed twice a year or more if u dont keep it brushed would it be a good idea since its summer too get her hair cut short so it wont tangle as much? the puppy that i am getting is only 9 months old also do you think it will be good with kids since its little and going too be brought up with the family???

if introduced properly, they can be good with kids...anyone they can call their family, preety much.

It is not recommended to shave a pomeranian. Just trimming of extra fur around paws to prevent slipping and debris getting caught under the paws, also for sanitary reasons trim fur around genital area and anus. Other than that, not necessary to shave a pom. If a pom is shaven you run the risk that the coat might not grow back properly or at all.

If your girl is under 12 years of age or is hyper, it is best you get a sturdier breed
