I have adopted a pointer...small dog mix and she is great EXCEPT she loves to nip at my fingers...


I have adopted a pointer...small dog mix and she is great EXCEPT she loves to nip at my fingers and face (in between kisses). she also bites my clothing as I walk. How can I stop her because her teeth are like razors.

Yo have to correct your pointer every time. Use positive reinforcement when she doesn't nip you. Lavish her with praise when she is good. Give her a firm no immediately and consistently when she nips.
