I adopted a pekingese and when i got him he was really bad matted it was so bad i could not even...


I adopted a pekingese and when i got him he was really bad matted it was so bad i could not even pet him i was able to shave his back but he will not let me shave him stomach and legs or around his butt and other parts that are really bad. what should i do ?

pekingese don't like the noise - i just cut their hair

My pekingese is the same way. He bites at the clippers and scissors. And he is 12. But I get it done anyway. Nicely. Maybe the first couple of times you should take him to a groomer. Most local vets have one of their own. They have experience and special equipment.
