she has an itch maybe there no need to get all excited. or maybe she needs to be trimmed a little down there?

That means she needs her anal sacks emptied. It happens to all dogs occasionally. Normally it drains by itself, but can become clogged. You have to take her to a vet to do it, and if you don't it can get infected and really hurt your dog. Call your vet and they'll tell you how much it costs. My SIL who's a vet does it for my Peke, so I'm not sure of the price. And BTW, the other answer was nonsense. HTH

Your peke might possibly have parasites down there, but there's no certain of that. Whatever it is, going to the vet always helps.

Hate to go against anyone who has a vet in the family....however....my Peke has done this consistently, off and on, in all of her 16 years. We have had her glands done many times. However, she can start the scooting all over again a week later....with CLEAN GLANDS! There has never been any common denominator......and we have always kept her extermely. And jsyk....she's been healthy all of her long life.....
