I do not know tons about the papillion breed but I do own one and I've never had a problem with his skin. He is a very healthy dog

Best to take to vets to make sure the lil papillon doesn't have an issue....my papillon doesn't but I know he'd be at my vets...

My Papillon had this issue when we first got her and a good oatmeal shampoo has solved the problem...their skin tends to be dry and can be flakey. Only shampoo when absolutely necessary and excessive scratching presents a necessity. Dry shampoo is preferrable most of the time once the itch problem is solved.

my papillon had a skin condition, he is hyper sensitive to fleas which means he gets irritated when bit by fleas. i have to consistently give him flea medication, and when he flares up an oatmeal shampoo.
