If you want to get into showing your Neapolitan Mastiff, is it best to have champion bloodlines and champion sired?

The Neapolitan Mastiff is a tough breed to buy. Not all that many breeders show their dogs but that does not mean they are not good dogs. Titled dogs are a bit more of a guarantee that your puppy will follow in their footsteps, but certainly nothing in stone. I have seen MANY Mastino that could be shown and finished but they never get in a ring. So to me, you can find some great dogs with untitled parents in this country. You need to know what you are looking for, but don't depend on a championship to get yourself a quality dog.
