it does not matter because miniatures have erect ears

Min Pin ears should be clipped between 12 and 16 weeks of age by a licensed Veterinarian under anesthethic.

Not all will stand naturally. Our show cut ears are done at 6 weeks of age. 16 weeks is too old and traumatic, requires stitches as at 6 weeks they dont.
