I have a 3 month old min pin basenji mix. I have never owned a min pin before and was just wondering if it was normal for her to be a little thinner. She plays hard and naps a lot afterwards. I just wonder if I'm not feeding her enough. She eats 2 times per day. My wife feeds her boiled chicken, vegetables and brown rice. Is this enough substance for her? Please let me know. Thanks

I feed my min pin and my basenji both blue buffalo 'wilderness' formula. It is as close to what they would eat in the wild. Min pins are supposed to be thinner and they have wider rib cage then get smaller as it goes into the lower back area. Your dog should not look one width throughout like a sausage. good luck
