Hey Everyone, I dont have a question for anyone just a very good suggestion. I had a Mastiff that just recently passed away. She was 14 years old which all of you should know is very unlikely for such big dogs. We fed her calfs liver when she was a puppy once a day. This helped her bones to be stronger and to grow as fast as her body was. Not once did she get hip dysplasia or anything to that fact. She was hurting when she walked only about a month before she passed away. So I would recommend calves liver to anyone who has a puppy that is going to be a large dog. It really does help. What other mastiff have you known to live till 14?

My mastiff lived until she was 15. We had to put her down because of cancer in her spine. Amazing dog, miss her terribly and it's been two years now. She ate dry food and supplements with the occasional raw ground chicken with carrots and rice. The glucosamine supplement made a huge difference to her gait. I'll be feeding the same way when I bring my baby boy mastiff home later this year :)
