I have a 6 yr female/spayed Mastiff. I rescued her she was left outside all the time in the midewst. She played by chasing little critters. I got her to be good with my pther dog & cat, no problems. I have problems when I walk her, she wants to jump at other dogs! it was easy to stop her when she only weighed 78 lbs. Now she weighs 154 lbs. How do i get this to stop? She does not play with toys at all. I have tried lots! She really appreciates a home! Now I have problems getting her in a huge kennel when I leave. Any suggestions will be most welcome!!! Thanks!

You must establish yourself as a strong pack leader or she will think that she is. Try some submission training, and make her work for meals, treats etc. Mastiffs in particular love to please, so giving them commands that they must then follow before rewarding serves two purposes. It gives them a "job" and it reminds them of your role as pack leader. Hope this helps... good luck.
