I have a 9 week old, English mastiff, this is my first, Lexi is the most uncoordinated, weirdest color I have ever seen. She has gained 14 pounds in just a hair over 2 weeks. She started out fawn colored and had a little black in her back, we were told that would disappear, but seems to becoming more prominate. Is it common for them to fall over their own feet constantly? If she is going to end up brindle when will it start showing????

English mastiff puppies will have clearly defined brindle patterns very early on, and those patterns will be obvious by 2 weeks of age. It is true that the black markings on your fawn girl's coat will fade as she ages.

Yes...they are growing so fast that they can't keep up...it's like a toddlers mind suddenly be put on a teenagers body. They will stop being so uncoordinated...but it will take a bit!
