Set a routine. Only give your Labrador Retriever puppy water and food up to four times a day( at first) then let him/her out half an hour after he/she eats or drinks. If you crate train him/her, make sure the cage is only big enough for the dog to turn around in. Dont do the puppy pads! That gives the dog a mentality that its ok to go in the house, no matter what ppl tell you. Scold your dog while its going in the house, not after, because the dog will not understand what it did wrong. Been a dog trainer for 10 years.
