Are Kerry Blue Terrier's viscous towards other dogs?

Kerry Blue Terrier's can be highly dog aggressive. They are terriers and their "job" does not include working with other dogs in a pack. Even if you find one from a reputable breeder (e,g., not on this website or other internet pet stores) you aren't guaranteed that it will be good with other dogs because the reputable breeding community uses breeding stock that doesn't take into account any temperament. There is no temperament in the breed standard. So be prepared to do a ton of socializing and be prepared that you may never be able to trust your Kerry around other dogs. I speak from experience on that.

My Kerry is very eager to please and has never shown any signs of aggression towards other dogs. We socialize him and have put in lots of careful work. We praise him when he is good and NEVER punish him. He is the best dog we could have wished for (and we are first time dog owners). If you are intelligent and responsible then the dog will grow up accordingly.
