Hi, so I have been wanting a puppy since I was like 3. And so my mom and dad always said when we move to a house, we lived in apt. So we are finally going to get one and my family wants a baby jack Russell but I hear it barks and bites a lot. Is that true? And can you train it not to? Also I wanted to know if a clicker worked for the breed Thanks for those who helped, Smart4u

just make them use a tennis ball as a muffler thats what we did, everytime he wanted to either play with the little grand children or play with the cat or bark we just taught him to get a ball, it worked wonderfully for all 15 years we had him r.i.p ralph we would buy they 5-6 packages at a time and we bought good ones the cheap ones he would pop and need to be thrown out

Clickers work great for Jack Russells. If you want a calmer dog, get a short Jack Russell as they were the little barn dogs and no so into the more active hunting dogs.
