My IG is mostly white, has a wonderful temperment and is a great dog except he is deaf. He was adopted and is about to turn three years old. Is deafness common in the white color? He is beautiful and I would like another white one but sometimes the deafness is a challenge.

Actually yes, it is common for all white Iggies to have problems with hearing, if your wanting a white one, then I suggest getting one with a little color in him/her, so they have less of a chance to become deaf.
