From reading your questions and answers, I have made my Italian Greyhound timid and over submissive by showering him with affection. He is 5 yrs old and very very shy and crawls to me if I want him. He also sleeps under the covers with me. He has a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a toy poodle for company. He plays with the RR but is afraid of the poodle. Can I correct his timidness at this late stage?

Perhaps let them into the yard to play just the two of them. There must've been an incident where the IG felt scared and now carries that with him/her. I would try to integrate an activity with the both of them so they can interact. Perhaps holding the IG and introducing the poodle by allowing them to sniff could help to relieve some of the fear. Perhaps get them all in the car together could work if you take them out. if the poodle is not aggressive then perhaps over time the IG will adapt. if the poodle is acting all hyper and active the IG will mostly likely run away
