I want an Italian Greyhound but I'm worried they are too difficult to potty train. Is it really that hard? I go to school so will he or she be okay if i leave them at my house for about 8-10 hours? if so should i put him or her in the backyard, my room, or in a small other room? how much do i feed him or her?

Hi, they should be fine. I have one and he's 13 now and he's always been home that long on a daily basis. Just leave a puppy pad down in case they can't hold it, they will use the pad. ;0)

i feel that time frame is too long to leave the ig, not only for potty but for socializing. It would be better if you could have someone come in the middle of the day to walk him and play with him for 1/2 hour or so. Also, never leave your ig in the backyard unsupervised. I feed my full grown ig's 1/3 cup in the am and pm. Go on facebook to join Italian Greyhound Owners. There is a lot of information available. Good luck.
