It is legal to breed Greyhounds in all US states and I can't even think of a country or region where it is illegal. Breeding any dog involves the taking on of huge responsibility and it is EXPENSIVE to do right. Greyhound whelps are very messy, need large tracts of ground to run and develop those strong muscles and they consume huge quanities of high quality food--raw beef, eggs, milk, etc. Much cheaper to buy a puppy from a reputable breeder. Count of paying $2000 or more for a well bred puppy.
