My Great Pyrenees attacked and killed one of my chickens. What to do to stop this from happening again?

Unfortunately, your Pyr will remember that chickens taste good for the rest of its life. The only way to prevent further loss: put your chickens in a pen that the Pyr can't break into, or put the Pyr in a pen that it can't break out of. Using a leash you might be able to train the dog to leave the chickens alone when you are present. But don't trust the dog when you aren't there to "babysit".
