I just bought a female great pyrenees she is six weeks old and her breeders kept her in a cage...


I just bought a female great pyrenees she is six weeks old and her breeders kept her in a cage in the garage where it was pretty cool with her litter mates is it too much of a temperature change for her to be in our 75 degree home when she has never been inside?

Great Pyrenees dogs are outside dogs. As long as you have an area for it to stay in, they'll be fine.

Great Pyrenees have a double coat which actually keeps them cool, just ensure your pup has plenty of water. They will prefer shaded areas when outside.
