My dane is 10 months and we have had him on Blue Buffalo puppy. I take him out twice a day for around 15 to 30 min free run. The vet said hes as healthy as he could be. Blue buffalo gives them what they need!!

I have a pair of danes and feed them blue buffalo as well, ALWAYS chose LARGE BREED when feeding a dane or dane mix. Large breed food has the proper nutrients to deal with a danes growing body. As for the calcium, honestly, i would get a second vets opinion, i have never heard of giving calcium to anything but a dane bitch that has just given birth.
