I have a 9 week old female Great Dane. She was the runt of the litter and was thin when we brought her home last week. In the past week, I've seen her hip bones one day, and not the next. I'm really worried about her weight. It's my first time owning a Great Dane. I can see all of her ribs on a daily basis, which is how skinny she was when we got her. I don't think I noticed her hip bones showing until the day before yesterday though. I was wondering if adding a little oil or grease or eggs would be good? I know there are certain feeding restrictions for Great Danes, so I really wanted to check with someone who would know first.

You can also try a raw diet. Not to heavy just a couple times a week. This is a natural diet that all dogs can digest. They have been doing it way before humans took them in as pets.
