I am turning 12 soon and I really want a golden retriever puppy. How am I going to convince my parents to let me get one? Here are my questions: - why are Goldens so expensive? - do they shed very badly? - will parents like/allow this type of dog? - do they bite.. Hard?

Golden Retrievers shed moderately. The cost depends on where you get it from; getting one from a reputable shelter are usually less expensive. They can bite as any dog can, but aren't know to be biters.

I just got my first golden and they do bite but they dont mean it. After all they are puppies and puppies chew. As far as shedding goes they shed alot in the summer but if you brush them good they dont as much. Golden Retrievers are amazing dogs and i think you parents would love him/her. They are so funny and cute, they love love LOVE to play!!!!!
