German Shepherds have dewclaws on the front legs. Some breeders have them removed with the puppy is around 2 days old. If your dog doesn't have dewclaws, that's probably why. You should be able to fold back the hair on the inside of each leg near the foot and feel a little scar where the dewclaw once was. Shepherd's do not have webbed feet. It may seem like it because there toes are connected to one another at the base (just like our toes).
