I don't know the situation but if you purchased this dog from a breeder, you probably didn't buy from a very responsible one. Puppies should never leave their litter under 7 weeks of age, but It's best to get puppies at 8 to 12 weeks of age. Dogs that are took away from their litter mates too early have an increased risk of a tendency to have behavioral problems. Like I said before I don't know the situation and you might be fostering or something but if you bought a puppy at this age, their is a chance you may have to do some extra training to work through some things. Be sure to do lots of extra socialization with your pup to other people, dogs and puppies. Puppy kindergarten is suggested for any dog. If you're still wondering how much to feed your puppy, then it would be best to call your veterinarian and ask. It depends on the type of food, and the pup's size. Hope this helps!
