What are the best foods for German Sherpherd

The best for German shepherds or any breed are the ones that have no fillers like soy and corn. Some breeders do the barf (raw) diet. But it is always best to discuss with your vet what diet your puppy or dog should be on.

Dogs should have quality, healthy diets. You will need to be willing to pay more for quality foods but it could be cheaper in the long run because unhealthy dog food can lead to health problems. Often people think of foods like Iams and Purina to be "healthy" but that is not the case. It is healthier than foods such as Beniful and and other dog diets. Some dog foods even add in gross things even such AS ROAD KILL AND OTHER THINGS! They don't have to say this on their package. Check with your vet, they can reccamend you a good dog food. If you want you can google "Quality Aussies" and go to the "feeding page." It is about Australian Shepherds and not about GSDs but it is an amazing page on feeding that would be good for any dog. Hope this helps!
