French bulldogs are good with all breeds.. As long as socialized and the other dog doesn't challenge them. Frenchies don't tend to back down.
They are a very active playful breed that tends to not know when to stop, you have to watch them cause they can play so hard that they cause themselves to overheat in winter.
They are a fairly healthy breed and if purchased from a reputable breeder who tests their dogs, offers health guarantees and has the pups get checked before leaving etc... You should have a nice long lived healthy pup.
Eyes, joints, spine etc tend to be problem areas. These dogs are 'deformed' in a sense. They are 'dwarf' versions of English Bulldogs and tend to have problems in the joints, etc, cause they are still active.
Expect to pay no less than $1000 for a well bred puppy.
