My English Springer Spaniel dog is 7 years old and a male. I am looking to get a 2nd dog, what would be the best dog, aisde from another spaniel?

i would recommend adopting an older female of any breed, a younger dog might annoy him with chewing and antics.... and older female would keeps down on same sex issues and maybe have the same energy level as ur male
