we are after getting a beautiful 9 month old springer spaniel, he is house trained but we would prefer to have him outside (we live in the country), we got him a wooden dog house but he won't look at it, he sleeps on the step at the front door. The first couple of nights he barked but has stopped, is he ok on the step and if it gets very cold should we bring him in, it is like having a child, he pulls at our heart strings !!!

Bring your springer spaniel inside!

They said it "bring the dog inside." Springers are like velcro; they love to be close to their masters and need the affection. If properly bathed and groomed, their shedding is minmal. I have 6 neutered springers ranging in age from 12+ - 9 months. They are my daily joy and you will always be rewarded.

If you leave a Springer outside, you are missing out on the best part of a Springer. No matter how busy or difficult the day has been for you, a Springer will erase it all and fill the remainder of your day with contentment.
