I have a 2 year old American bulldog who was perfectly potty-trained. Now he seems to dump in the house a lot. He still goes outside but still manages to Number 2 in the house. What could be causing this? He was such a good boy and easily trained. Stubborn, sometimes, but not very often. Thank you!

Could be revenge for not being with him enough? Not being able to get your attention maybe. I crate train and as I see the dog is catching on I give more out of crate time in the room I will be in. My now 6 month old gets the run of the downstairs when I'm in the house. I use something called "the paw" I bought out of a catalog that I keep by the backdoor and when pressed it barks. My dogs learn it quick so If they need out and I can't see them at the door they press the paw and that alerts me they want out.
