I have a now 7 month Old English Bulldog puppy. I have been feeding her a little less than a full cup of dry food, and about a tablespoon of wet food three times a day. I was told to mix in the wet food because she eats SO FAST, and it would "slow her down". She eats everything in a matter of minutes!! She's a GREAT weight for her size, as I'm told by my vet. She weighs about 32 lbs (and looks very lean). She gets ALOT of exercise with other dogs, and my family, My question is, should I start decreasing her food to only twice a day? How much should I be feeding her????? Thanks for the help! (my vet isn't very helpful, looking into getting a new one). :)

Our bulldog is now 2 years old when she was a puppy she would eat so fast the food would get stuck in her throat and she would choke a little, my vet said to put her food on a long shallow dish like a cookie sheet, I used a 9 by 13 baking dish so she would get less at a time. I reLize this is kind of a different issue but maybe it would slow her eating down a little? Now we leave our food down all the time for our dog and she eats twice a day on her own

Hi, I bought my Enlish a bowl called Brake Fast. It slows her eating and it is a life saver.
