How well do Dogue De Bordeaux's adapt to colder temps like in the dakotas?

The Dogue would do fine in the colder climates as long as its not living out there. I wouldn't leave a Dogue out in the cold, however living in the house and going out to play in these climates would be fine. As you may already know, short coat dogs are not meant to "live" in outdoor cold climates.

The dogue can be kept outdoors even in the Dakotas as long as shelter and fresh water is provided. This may be difficut in below freezing temperatures but is necessary.

If you don't keep your dog in side with you you are looking at the wrong breed.. The Dogue De Bordeaux lived soley for his master and family .. they want you 25 hour's a day meaning alway's.. if you don't have some one around day and night.. this isn't the Breed you Need...I have 2 from russia and there fine in cold weather just don't leave out side ...
