What are some of the risks for legal issues with the Dogo Argentino breed?

The Dogo is not currently on any home owners insurance lists for being uninsurable. A trained dog of any breed is the key to being lower at risk.

The Dogo Argentino has received a bad wrap, just like the pit bull. If abused or encouraged to be violent, they can become mentally unstable and can do a lot of damage without any provocation, what with being larger and stronger than the average pit bull. But if well raised, they make an excellent guard dog and companion around the home. All you've got to do is not beat the poor things. Legal issues in the US are currently the same as with any other dog. You're liable to be sued for damages should the dog attack someone, and it will be put down.
