My Dalmatian is 1 year old, and she is very hyper and young, she has been having problems, she has been out in the backyard doing her business, but she has seemed to laid in her own urine and sat in it. We've washed her plenty of times and it's faded to light yellow, but her tail is darker. We can't seem to get it off, is there any good ways to remove the urine? And treatment to get it off. We know we could take her to the groomers and they'll be able to remove most of it, but we'd like to know if there is anything we can do at home. We have white dog shampoo but it's not working full on. Just little bits. If anyone has an answer please let me know what I could do. It gets a little embarrassing taking a Dalmatian out which is white and has a stain on her bum. Please does anyone have a answer to remove a urine stain of a Dalmatian?

It may not be a urine stain. She may have a staph infection which is common in Dalmatians. They have skin issues to begin with and if they have any type of irritation then it can lead to that because they usually lick and the skin stays moist. The fur tends to have a "tawny" color to it when that is the case. It is something that can be cleared up with antibiotics, but you may want to check her for allergies. Mine had allergies to everything, but once I had them on shots, they almost never had that problem again.
