I am thinking of adopting a young adult, male "long-legged" Coton. I have not seen the dog in person as yet, but I have take care of a friend's Coton so I'm quite familiar with and love them. I am told this Coton weighs 25 lbs. (not overweight looking in photos). Is that possible, or is it likely mixed with another breed? He looks like my friend's pure bred Coton in photos.

We have a male Coton who is 8 years old. He ways 27 pounds which is heavy for the breed but in no way would I say he is out of shape. He was the largest of the litter and is tall and long.
